Jonkershoek Guest Farm
A stylish guest farm in the heart of the Northern Cape
Jonkershoek is a private guest farm. It is situated approximately 18km outside the historic town of Kimberley, Northern Cape on the N12.
This former dairy farm now boasts a prize-winning Red Angus stud and the original farmhouse has been fully restored and transformed into a luxurious guesthouse that exudes warmth and friendly Northern Cape hospitality.

Jonkershoek boasts a wine bar consisting of Blaauwklippen’s variety of red and white wines.
Our spacious dining room is where you will enjoy your freshly made meals and have a stunning view of our sprawling lawn. We also offer lunch, dinner and braaipacks on request.
Our beautiful swiming pool gives you the farm feeling. All children should be supervised by an adult.
This guesthouse only opened recently and we found it by chance. We arrived with no booking and the manager Elisna went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything inour executive room was sparkling clean, new and of good quality. The 4* are very deserved. They organised us a braai pack and everything you need for the braai, as we came not prepared, but were only too grateful not having to drive any further. There is a lovely boma, with good lighting and all the braai gadgets one may need. If we would not have found this place, we would have had to stay in Kimberley. We did not really want to stay in the city and were hoping to find something more interesting. We were very lucky to find Jonkershoek, right next to the highway (our room was facing the other way, and despite an open window, there was no traffic noise bothering us – we are quite sensitive to noise). Beds and bedding were of excellent quality, breakfast was very nice, too. There are a few other dinner options, if you book in advance. There is a huge lawn for children to play, two lovely dogs and a great swimming pool. The accommodation is on a cattle farm and you can do a guided tour if you are interested. If we travel that way again, there is no doubt, we will return. Highly recommended. No need to stay in the city.
“A very big thank you to the competent staff of Jonkershoek, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
Tranquil surroundings, comfortable luxurious rooms. Scrumptious cuisine prepared by George, who was always around to make sure we were comfortable. He waited upon our return from an evening out. Early morning stroll in fresh country air, away from the city buzz.
Will recommend to anyone who would like to be pampered in style. Will definitely be back.”
Thank you so so much for such a wonderful stay last night! We loved everything about Jonkershoek guest farm.
The rooms were immaculate and we truly appreciated all the attention to details and covid protocols, making us feel so safe and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the yummiest take-away breakfast, extra waters and chocolates! Thanks for everything, we look forward to many more stays at the guest farm 🙂 Warm regards, Gert & Durasia
